Who is the data controller

Nordre Restaurant AS (company no. 912 345 678), Thorvald Meyers gate 33, 0555 Oslo, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

What we collect

When you book a table: name, email address, phone number, party size, date and time, plus anything you choose to tell us about allergies, diet or the occasion.

When you order takeaway: the same, plus what you ordered and your collection time.

Automatically: IP address and browser type, used for security and to limit abuse of the booking forms.

We do not collect more than we need to take and honour your booking.

Allergy information is health data. We process it only because you supplied it, only to prepare your food safely, and it is visible only to the kitchen and the host team.

How long we keep it

  • Booking history: up to 3 years after your last visit.
  • Accounting records: 5 years, as required by Norwegian bookkeeping law.
  • Marketing consent: until you withdraw it.
  • Security logs: 6 months.

After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

Who sees it

Your data is never shared for marketing purposes and never sold.

We use the following processors, each under a data processing agreement:

  • a server hosting provider inside the EU/EEA
  • an email delivery provider
  • a payment provider, if you choose to pay online

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. You may withdraw consent at any time.

If you believe we are handling your data unlawfully, you may complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (datatilsynet.no).
